The Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching is a recognition of all teachers: those who came before me as mentors, those who teach beside me as colleagues who inspire me, and those who are beginning who motivate me to learn new things. We are encouraged, challenged, and inspired along the way by our colleagues and students who give our work meaning and bring it to life. Education is dynamic, exciting, and unites us on a global level.
