This award identifies educators who seek new ways to excite and engage students in their education while preparing them for the future. The award process allowed me to reflect on my practice, which then allowed me to better my own teaching. Master teachers find ways of inspiring students to work hard. I am honored to be among these dedicated professionals while receiving an award for doing something I love to do. I share this honor with my family, colleagues, and — most importantly — my students.
