We can look with optimism towards what will happen around us socially and economically if we treat our educational process with respect. Educators like me, as well as those who appreciate our work have that respect. I am deeply honored to be recognized at this level as a teacher who values American education.

The official biography below was current at the time of the award.

Liviu Paul Haiducu has spent the last 16 years teaching all levels of physics, from regular to Advanced Placement, and mathematics at Avon High School and Avon Advanced Learning Center.   Liviu, a Romanian American, was blessed with an enticingly exotic and unique personal life and professional path. Through commercials and shows staged at a variety of educational venues, the project’s objective is to increase Indiana-based students’ excitement and interest in physics and science. Since 2012, Liviu has been involved as a presenter in the Advanced Placement Training and Incentive Program (AP-TIP) through the University of Notre Dame, which guides schools to student success in AP testing. Liviu Haiducu has a B.S. in physics and biophysics from the University of Bucharest, Romania, and a M.S. in physics and biophysics from Purdue University. He is a certified physics and mathematics teacher for grades 5-12.
