The Presidential Award affirms my passion and commitment to teach students in a collaborative, project-based environment. While I know my classroom can be busy, chaotic, and occasionally messy, my students explore their own solutions and think and act like scientists and engineers. The award also confirms that learning never stops, and I will continue to reflect on my practices as my professional learning community grows.
