The Presidential Award has given me the opportunity to reflect on my teaching practices and articulate clearly my beliefs about mathematics education. While achieving this award would be an honor, it is the process of applying that has been most meaningful to me. I hope that my love of mathematics and passion for teaching have inspired the students and teachers with whom I have worked, and that they will approach math with increased enthusiasm, confidence, and curiosity.
