The Presidential Award is a validation of my love for my students. I cherish every child I have been privileged to teach. They make my job so much fun. Because I want the best for them, I sought this award as an opportunity to reflect on my teaching as I strive for continuous improvement. I genuinely love science and I want to transfer that love to my students. I want my legacy to be confident learners with a passion for science, and I want them to always remember they were loved by me.
