I am so excited to be selected as a Presidential Award winner for science teaching. I firmly believe that teaching is a gift that is to be used to further and enrich the lives of the students we teach. I have been blessed to work with so many outstanding professionals throughout my career. I have learned so much from each one of them and attribute many of my effective teaching techniques to the wonderful mentors I have had in my life. I hope that I can now become that inspiration to someone else.
