Being a recipient of the Presidential Award would offer me the opportunity to work with great minds on national science education issues to improve our nation globally in science. Meeting with educators and lawmakers from other states to exchange ideas would be exciting, informative, and humbling. I would be honored to be a part of decision-making in education. I could also be a spokesman for the Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Initiative at the national level. I passionately believe in it.
