This award is really an affirmation of what I have strived to do: to cultivate in my students a motivation to learn and to achieve in science. The meaning of this award is not so much about me, but rather what my children have accomplished through my initiations. Although it would be an honor to be validated through this prestigious award, the diligent efforts of the children I teach, as well as their desire to learn science, are the factors that should be recognized.
