The Presidential Award is validation that the projects my students are doing are real-world and authentic. To have their work and my philosophies recognized is an honor and exactly the kind of encouragement that keeps me hungry to connect students with more organizations within our local community and beyond. I look forward to the many new opportunities this may bring my students and me. Many thanks to the people who have supported me along the way to help put me in this fortunate position.
