This award has given me the opportunity to reflect on the many educators, mentors, and students that have shaped me into the teacher I am today. I am inspired to continue striving to be a model of lifelong learning and perseverance for my students. It is an honor to be recognized in a field where countless educators extend themselves above and beyond the parameters of their job responsibilities each and every day. I am truly humbled.
