I am honored to have been chosen for this prestigious award. My parents encouraged me to always strive toward my personal best, for which I am eternally grateful. The strong support system at my school and within my district helped place me on a path of excellence in teaching, learning, and leadership. Being considered for the Presidential Award is a shared accomplishment for my family, my fellow educators, and every student who has ever crossed the threshold of my classroom.
