Being nominated for this award was a true surprise and honor, especially being amongst so many talented, innovative educators. While being an educator has its own intrinsic awards, it is often difficult to gauge how successful we really are. I am humbled to know that every assessment I write, every lesson I design, and every item I share with my students and fellow teachers has been recognized with such a prestigious award.
