To be considered for a Presidential Award is a great honor. This is a tremendous validation of the professional culture of my school which has challenged, stretched, and stimulated me to improve my practice. I am indebted to my colleagues for such a collaborative and stimulating work environment. My primary focus will always be the students in my classes, but I hope to reach out farther and contribute more to the passion and growth of other teachers and students.
