Being named a finalist for the Presidential Award has been a truly humbling experience. To be recognized in a group of some of the finest educators I know is amazing. I read a quote once that said, ”Success is never owned, just rented, and the rent is due every day.“ It reminds me that every day is a chance to make a difference. This process has reinforced to me the importance of constantly searching for new ideas and refining older methods to help students achieve at the highest level.
