The Presidential award is an honor, but with it comes a responsibility. As exemplary practitioners of our craft, we are responsible for providing all students with the opportunity to experience a rich and vigorous learning environment, particularly in the fields of math and science. We need to cultivate a community of learners that strive to be innovative and can compete with their counterparts worldwide. The Presidential Award not only recognizes and encourages this vision, it demands it.
