The Presidential Award is the greatest distinction that can be bestowed upon an educator in the fields of science and mathematics education. Being named a Presidential Award Winner signifies that an educator has truly devoted his or her life to the field of science and/or math education. To me personally, this recognition validates all of the effort, passion, and commitment I have invested over the years to my students and school community.
