The Presidential Award gives me an incredible opportunity to represent the many people who have supported my journey as an educator. My family, administrators, and fellow teachers have all played important roles, and I am grateful for their guidance. Receiving this honor renews my drive to continually improve my practice and guide students as they grow as mathematicians. I feel so thankful for a career I love, and am honored to have even been considered.
