Aryn Tippetts Lovell, WY | K-6, Science, 2016

Aryn Tippetts has been teaching sixth grade science at Lovell Middle School for the past 13 years and sixth grade mathematics for the past 11 years. She has also taught various sixth through eighth grade computer technology courses throughout nine of her 12 years. Aryn adores teaching both mathematics and science to sixth grade students. She challenges her students with high expectations and rigorous curriculum, and supports them as they navigate through the beginning of their middle school years. Aryn builds personal relationships with her students, understands their unique learning styles, and employs differentiated instructional strategies to help them succeed. As a member of her school and district leadership teams, Aryn values continuous learning and contributes to continuous growth and educational excellence at the school and district level. She has been chosen to serve on state Data, Item Review, and Standards Setting Committees. Aryn earned a B.A. in elementary education from the University of Wyoming, an A.A. in elementary education, an A.S. in secondary education, and an A.S. in physical education, all from Northwest College. She is certified in kindergarten through sixth grade elementary education with a middle school endorsement and a highly qualified endorsement in science education. She also holds coaching endorsements in volleyball and basketball.
